Up for sale is a 1988 (MCMLXXXVIII) 1 Oz. The features of this coin include the following: Mint = Philadelphia (No Mint Mark); Mintage = 465,000; Designer/Engraver = Augustus Saint-Gaudens; Metal Composition = 91.67% Gold - 3% Silver - 5.33% Copper; Diameter = 32.7 mm; Mass/Weight = 33.931 grams. This coin was given by my grandfather to my grandmother to celebrate their 50-year wedding anniversary in 1988 and it came out of her estate.

It is protected in a plastic coin case and looks to me to be in absolutely beautiful condition, but you be the judge. There is a crack in the bottom of the middle (white) section of the plastic case, but there is no damage to the coin itself. I have done my best to describe this piece as accurately as I can.
